Academic Pursuit

Baseball has helped shape my personality, work ethic, and leadership skills—qualities that I hope to bring with me into my future career as a park ranger. Through years of conditioning, camaraderie, and discipline, I've come to realize how to stay on track under pressure, deal with surprises, and be present for the people around me. These are the same traits needed for outdoor conservation work, especially when teaching educational programs, leading tours, or responding to emergency situations in the wild.

Besides my professional goals, I also wish to pay back by coaching youth baseball. I believe sports have the ability to give confidence, impart worthwhile life skills, and build community. I'm especially passionate about working with children with disabilities, helping to create accessible places where all children have the opportunity to learn, play, and grow. On the field or in the wild, I want to devote my life to leadership, service, and helping others discover their potential
